KIDDA TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in Punjabi lessons, group programmes, and any services provided by Kidda.

By purchasing or attending a class, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Payment

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Payment confirms your place in the class or course.

All sessions (1–1 or group) must be paid in advance.

Late or failed payments may result in your access being paused or revoked.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Once a course has begun, all payments are non-refundable.

Refunds before the start of a course may be considered at Kidda’s discretion.

Payments cannot be transferred between different courses or participants.

4. Attendance, Behaviour & Respect

All students are expected to:

Arrive on time and engage respectfully.

Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Avoid using or sharing inappropriate language, content, or behaviour.

Kidda reserves the right to remove any student from classes for repeated disrespect, disruption, or breaches of these terms.

5. Use of Feedback, Reviews, and Personal Data

By submitting your feedback, review, or testimonial, you agree that Kidda (Kidda Ltd) may use the information you provide — including your comments, star ratings, first name, and general location (e.g., “London, UK”) — for the purposes of:

showcasing student experiences on our website, social media, marketing materials, and online platforms; improving our tutoring services, curriculum, and student support; internal data analysis and quality assurance.

We will never publish sensitive personal information, contact details, or anything you have not chosen to provide.

6. Safeguarding & Online Safety

Kidda is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students across all ages. We provide online classes and may include students of differing ages in group sessions.

We require a parent/guardian of students aged under 18 to complete a Parental Consent Form prior to granting access to classes.

By completing this form, the parent or legal guardian confirms they have read, understood and accepted the information presented in these Terms and Conditions and consents to their child participating in Kidda’s online tuition.

To support safeguarding of students under the age of 18, Kidda ensures that:

Tutors have obtained the relevant DBS checks where required.

Tutors are trained and operate in accordance with Kidda’s Safeguarding Policy.

Kidda reserves the right to remove any participant from online lessons where there are concerns about behaviour or welfare, and to take further safeguarding action if required. This may include reporting concerns to relevant authorities and sharing information with appropriate safeguarding bodies where necessary to protect the welfare of a child or young person.

GROUP LESSONS

Structure

Each course typically consists of 12 x 90-minute sessions. Classes follow a set weekly schedule.

Attendance

If you miss a class, you’ll receive a short recap or notes from your tutor. Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged to keep up with your cohort.

Group Dynamics

All learners are expected to respect group members and contribute positively. Tutors may mute participants or remove anyone causing disruption.

Communication

Key updates and homework will be shared via WhatsApp or your class group. Please check your messages regularly and submit work on time if applicable.

1–1 LESSONS

Scheduling & Flexibility

Lessons are booked in advance directly with your tutor. You may reschedule with 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson are non-refundable and count as used.

Lesson Delivery

Lessons take place via Zoom or another agreed platform. Tutors will arrive on time and expect students to do the same. Repeated lateness (over 10 minutes) may reduce your lesson duration.

Communication

You’ll receive your tutor’s WhatsApp contact for class reminders and quick updates. Please avoid excessive messaging outside lesson times unless urgent.

LESSON MATERIALS, RECORDINGS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Kidda lesson materials, slides, PDFs, worksheets, and recordings are protected intellectual property.

You agree to the following terms upon enrolment:

Materials are for personal educational use only. You may not share, distribute, sell, record, or upload any Kidda content. This includes screenshots, screen recordings, and sharing with non-students.

Unauthorised sharing will result in:

Immediate removal from all classes and communities. Termination of access to Kidda materials. Potential legal action or fee recovery to protect our intellectual property.

We take this seriously to ensure every learner receives a high-quality, fair experience.

RECORDINGS

Lessons may occasionally be recorded for internal quality assurance, revision, or training purposes. You will always be notified in advance when a session is being recorded.

Access to lesson recordings may be provided to enrolled students for learning and revision purposes only.

Recordings are shared within a closed learning environment and are not intended for redistribution.

Students must not download, share, reproduce, or distribute lesson recordings outside of the learning platform.

Any unauthorised sharing of recordings by a student is the responsibility of that individual.

Where appropriate, short excerpts from lesson recordings may be used for marketing or informational purposes only after being fully anonymised, meaning all identifying details (including names, faces, voices, and contextual references) are removed so that individuals cannot reasonably be identified.

Recordings in which a student is identifiable will never be shared externally without explicit written consent.
